Opened since 1984, Mobile County Minimum Security Barracks is a medium-security detention center located in Mobile, Alabama. Send a Mail/Package

Visitation Rules

Visitation occurs via video from the visitor’s home/device or in the lobby of the Mobile County Community Justice Center which is located at 510 South Royal Street

. Inmates are usually allowed one 40-minute visits per week. Each inmate may have two visitors at a time.

  • Anyone appearing to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will not be allowed to visit

  • All visitors must wear appropriate clothing including shoes and shirts.

  • Jail staff may refuse a visit due to inappropriate dress or conduct while visiting
