The Soledad City Police Department has an In Custody List on their website. This is where you will be able to see the custody report of all the inmates that are held in the Soledad Jail.

You will have to scroll through all the inmates until you find who you are looking for. The inmate’s information listed below will be shown on each custody report:

If you do not have access to a computer or smartphone where you can get onto the internet you can visit the Soledad Jail where a staff member can help you at the lobby.

Only 4"x 6 " plain white postcards that are metered, unstamped with a pencil or blue or black ink may be sent to the offender. No other mail is permitted.

Inmates at Soledad Jail open their mail in front of a jail employee and mail gets inspected before the inmate even gets to open it. Mail that inmates send out gets inspected as well.

Inmates need money if they want to shop at the Soledad Jail commissary. This is a store at the jail where the inmates can buy basic day to day items.

JPay and Western Union is an electronic service that allows you to transfer money into an inmate’s account. Most jails accept these services.

Once the booking process is finished the inmate is allowed to make one free phone call.

From inside the cell block, inmates at Soledad Jail are allowed to make collect calls.

Inmates at Soledad Jail are allowed to have up to 10 minutes to visit and a total of 2 visitors (one visitor at a time) during the visiting hours listed below:

Sunday - 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Tuesday - 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Thursday - 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

• You will be required to present a government-issued photo ID

• You are required to be dressed modestly.

• All visitors are searched and go through a metal detector.

• Personal belongings are not allowed in the visitation area.
