Opened since 1984, Madera County Juvenile Boot Camp is a medium-security detention center located in Madera, California. This facility was originally designed to house a total of 60 inmates, but by 2004, the Madera County Juvenile Boot Camp experienced over a 240% increase in the average daily population for the facility and needed to expand.
Currently, 40 Corrections Deputies, 5 Corrections Sergeants, and 1 Lieutenant are responsible for providing safe and secure housing for inmates being held in the custody of the Madera County Juvenile Boot Camp.
