Inmates at Orange County Female Detention Center may receive only metered, unstamped, plain white postcards no larger than 4" x 6" as mail written in black or blue ink.

Make sure you include your full first and last name on the return address. If no return address is available, unauthorized mail will be stored in the inmate's locker until the inmate's release.

If you want to send money to an inmate’s account, use one of the following options:

• The kiosk (located in the lobby of the Orange County Female Detention Center) using Cash or Visa / Master Card. There is a minimum $2.50 fee.

• Online by visiting JailATM. There is a minimum $2.50 fee.

The Orange County Female Detention Center does not accept cashier’s checks or money orders.

The Inmate Debit Calling program uses Global Tel Link (GTL) for Orange County Female Detention Center and now offers two kinds of prepaid phone accounts:

• AdvancePay Phone Account: This prepaid account lets the inmate make calls to certain phone numbers using funds that you have deposited in the account. You can learn more about GTL’s AdvancePay.

Visitors must be registered on the Orange County Female Detention Center’s visitation website and have selected the inmate who is being visited. Visitors have the ability to schedule a visit from home on a tablet or phone. Visitor registration can also be done by using the kiosk in the jail lobby.

Inmates are allowed one 25-minute video visit per week by no more than four visitors at a time. During on-site visitation, Orange County Female Detention Center has five on-site visitation units available.

Appropriate attire is required during video visits.

All visits must be scheduled at least two days in advance but no more than six days in advance.
