The St. Joseph County Juvenile Detention is a medium-security prison that is located in South Bend, Indiana. It is specifically operated by the Montgomery Sheriff’s Office but also does accept prisoners from surrounding towns and municipalities.
The St. Joseph County Juvenile Detention also has a law library which inmates can access Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 AM and 3 PM. Inmates have a “first come, first serve” basis when it comes to the library.
