Visitation Rules
Inmates at Vanderburgh County Youth may receive visits from those individuals whose names have been submitted and approved on an Authorized Visitation List. These lists are limited to five (5) visitors’ maximum.
Visitation schedules are posted in each housing unit, and this information is not released to the public, so you will need to get this information from the inmate you wish to visit.
All visitors must have acceptable identification. This includes a driver’s license with picture identification, military ID, or another verifiable picture ID. No cell phones or personal belongings are allowed in the Vanderburgh County Youth’s visitation area.
Proper clothing is required at all times. Shoes and shirts must be worn. Revealing clothing is not allowed.
All children must be supervised at all times during visitation and accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
