Incoming and outgoing inmate mail will be inspected by jail staff.

Inmates at Trego County Youth Center may receive only metered, unstamped, plain white postcards no larger than 4" x 6" as mail. Writing must be in pencil or blue or black ink. Any other mail will be returned to the sender.

If no return address is available, unauthorized mail will be stored in the inmate's locker until the inmate's release.

Inmate mail cannot contain anything related to violence, racial supremacy, or nudity.

Trego County Youth Center requires all visitors to fill out an application prior to visitation. If you want to visit an inmate at Trego County Youth Center, carefully fill out the application. The Trego County Youth Center reserves the right to deny any person the right to enter the jail it chooses and for any reason.

Jail visits are conducted in person behind plexiglass or on a televised screen from another location. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and guardians must provide proof of their guardianship. Inmates may have two visitors during each visit.

Leave all personal belongings, except for your state ID in your vehicle. No cell phones or bags are allowed in the jail.
