Alma Jail is a medium security detention center for adult inmates that is locally operated by the Alma City Police Department. This facility serves the city of Alma and the surrounding area.

Send a Mail/Package

In order to keep everyone safe and secure the Alma Jail staff inspects all incoming and outgoing mail. Please refrain from sending any contraband in the mail.

Inmates at Alma Jail are allowed to receive 4"x 6 " plain white postcards in the mail that are metered, unstamped with a pencil or blue or black ink only.
