The Kent County Re-Entry Center only accepts inmate mail in the form of postcards with the maximum dimension of 5-1/2 inches tall and 8-1/2 inches wide. If the postcard looks or appears to be tampered with, it will be rejected and returned to sender.

Inmate mail cannot contain any violent or obscene related material. No current inmate-to-inmate mail will be allowed and will be destroyed.

Visitation Rules
Inmates at Kent County Re-Entry Center may receive visits from those individuals whose names have been submitted and approved on an Authorized Visitation List. These lists are limited to five (5) visitors’ maximum.
Visitation schedules are posted in each housing unit, and this information is not released to the public, so you will need to get this information from the inmate you wish to visit.
All visitors must have acceptable identification. This includes a driver’s license with picture identification, military ID, or another verifiable picture ID. No cell phones or personal belongings are allowed in the Kent County Re-Entry Center’s visitation area.
Proper clothing is required at all times. Shoes and shirts must be worn. Revealing clothing is not allowed.
All children must be supervised at all times during visitation and accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
