The Roscommon County Juvenile Detention is a medium-security detention center located in Roscommon, Michigan. Operated locally by the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office, this jail holds inmates who are awaiting trial or sentencing. The Roscommon County Sheriff’s Department has the largest number of law enforcement officers in the county and is the largest facility in Michigan. The current Sheriff was sworn in as Sheriff in September 2009.
