The Kittson County Jail is a medium-security detention center located in Hallock, Minnesota. Operated locally by the Kittson County Sheriff’s Office, this jail holds inmates who are awaiting trial or sentencing. The Kittson County Sheriff’s Department has the largest number of law enforcement officers in the county and is the largest facility in Minnesota. The current Sheriff was sworn in as Sheriff in September 2009.
