The Todd County Jail & Detention Center is a medium-security detention center located in Long Prairie, Minnesota. Operated locally by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, this jail holds inmates who are awaiting trial or sentencing. The Todd County Sheriff’s Department has the largest number of law enforcement officers in the county and is the largest facility in Minnesota. The current Sheriff was sworn in as Sheriff in September 2009.
