Sending Money
The Cincinnati Volunteers of America will accept money payments through JPay. Nearly all prisons in the United States use JPay as their service is easy and efficient for everyone involved.

Phone Calls
For you to visit or even be able to talk to an inmate here at the Cincinnati Volunteers of America on the phone, you will be required to fill out the following application.
When you fill out this application, you will be required to send in a $25 money order to pay for your background check.
This application can take 4 to 6 weeks for the facility to fully process the app and approve you. Until you are approved, you will not be permitted to talk or visit an inmate.
Once you are approved, you will have phone privileges for the inmate, and they can call you during the allotted phone usage times.
Visitation Rules
If you have been approved to visit an inmate, you will automatically be able to visit right away. If you haven’t been approved, or haven’t filled out the application, you will need to do so prior to being permitted to come on to the campus.
You can even visit an inmate here at the Cincinnati Volunteers of America on Saturdays, Sundays, and even federal holidays between the hours of 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
For non-contact visits, you will be permitted to come and visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 8 am to 3:30 pm. Keep in mind that inmates will be permitted to have 2 hours of visitation.
If the inmate you are visiting is in the Detention unit, their visitation hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 3:30 pm. These inmates are only permitted to have 1 hour of visitation.
While special visitation will happen daily from 8 am to 3 pm.
