Sending Money
Even though an inmate is in the Dayton Correctional Institution, you may not think they need money for certain things. Well, you are wrong. Inmates need money to purchase snacks, beverages, entertainment items, personal hygiene products from the commissary while also ensuring they have money in their phone account to make calls back home.
The Dayton Correctional Institution partners with JPay. JPay is a service that allows family and friends of inmates to put money on the inmate's books from going in person, online, or over the phone.
Phone Calls
Dayton Correctional Institution allows inmates to make outgoing calls in one of two ways.
The first way is the inmate can call you collect. This is where the receiver will be responsible for any fees that occur with this call.
The second way is for the inmate to use the telephone service that the Dayton Correctional Institution partners with. This is where inmates will need money in their account to be able to make calls out.
However, all calls will be recorded and monitored and have a 15-minute limit.
