The Bridge Program

Grant County Jail offers its inmates the Bride Program. Created by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office 2011, this program targets substance abuse issues. BRIDGE consists of:

  • Relapse prevention

  • Anger management

  • Criminal and addictive thinking

  • Employment

  • Group and individual sessions that target coping skills

  • Meditation skills

  • Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT)

Inmates who participate are required to attend the program for a minimum of 90 days.

Send a Mail/Package

Inmates at Grant County Jail may receive only metered, unstamped, plain white postcards no larger than 4" x 6" as mail written in black or blue ink.

Make sure you include your full first and last name on the return address. If no return address is available, unauthorized mail will be stored in the inmate's locker until the inmate's release.

Sending Money

If you want to send money to an inmate’s account, use one of the following options:

  • The kiosk (located in the lobby of the Grant County Jail) using Cash or Visa / Master Card. There is a minimum $2.50 fee.

  • Online by visiting JailATM. There is a minimum $2.50 fee.

The Grant County Jail does not accept cashier’s checks or money orders.

Phone Calls

The Inmate Debit Calling program uses Global Tel Link (GTL) for Grant County Jail and now offers two kinds of prepaid phone accounts:

Visitation Rules

Visitors must be registered on the Grant County Jail’s visitation website and have selected the inmate who is being visited. Visitors have the ability to schedule a visit from home on a tablet or phone. Visitor registration can also be done by using the kiosk in the jail lobby.

Inmates are allowed one 25-minute video visit per week by no more than four visitors at a time. During on-site visitation, Grant County Jail has five on-site visitation units available.

Appropriate attire is required during video visits.

All visits must be scheduled at least two days in advance but no more than six days in advance.
