Opened since 1984, Multnomah County Court Holding Facility is a medium-security detention center located in Portland, Oregon. This facility was originally designed to house a total of 150 inmates, but by 2004, the Multnomah County Court Holding Facility experienced over a 240% increase in the average daily population for the facility and needed to expand.
Currently, 40 Corrections Deputies, 5 Corrections Sergeants, and 1 Lieutenant are responsible for providing safe and secure housing for inmates being held in the custody of the Multnomah County Court Holding Facility.

Visitation Rules
Visitation occurs via video from the visitor’s home/device or in the lobby of the Multnomah County Community Justice Center which is located at 1021 Southwest 4th Avenue, Portland, OR, 97204. Inmates are usually allowed one 40-minute visits per week. Each inmate may have two visitors at a time.
