Opened since 1984, Bradford County Correctional Facility is a medium-security detention center located in Troy, Pennsylvania. This facility was originally designed to house a total of 118 inmates, but by 2004, the Bradford County Correctional Facility experienced over a 240% increase in the average daily population for the facility and needed to expand.
Currently, 40 Corrections Deputies, 5 Corrections Sergeants, and 1 Lieutenant are responsible for providing safe and secure housing for inmates being held in the custody of the Bradford County Correctional Facility.
Bradford County Correctional Facility offers a Jail Alternatives Program which offers alternative programs to qualifying inmates. Such alternatives include Work Release, Community Service, and Electronic Home Monitoring.

Send a Mail/Package
Inmates at Bradford County Correctional Facility may receive only metered, unstamped, plain white postcards no larger than 4" x 6" as mail. Writing must be in pencil or blue or black ink. Any other mail will be returned to the sender.

Visitation Rules
Visitation occurs via video from the visitor’s home/device or in the lobby of the Bradford County Community Justice Center which is located at 15927 US Route 6, Troy, PA, 16947. Inmates are usually allowed one 40-minute visits per week. Each inmate may have two visitors at a time.
