The Montgomery County Correctional Facility is a medium-security detention center located in Eagleville, Pennsylvania. Operated locally by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, this jail holds inmates who are awaiting trial or sentencing. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department has the largest number of law enforcement officers in the county and is the largest facility in Pennsylvania. The current Sheriff was sworn in as Sheriff in September 2009.
