How to Find Someone in Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Center
The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has made it super easy and even extremely convenient to find out information on an inmate who is housed in the Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Center.

Send a Mail/Package
Want to make an inmate's day while they are serving time in the Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Center? Send them a handwritten letter.
Inmates are permitted to send and receive letters from their loved ones back home.
You will need to keep in mind that all written letters will be opened and examined by an Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Center staff member.

Sending Money
Has your loved one asked you to send them money, so they can purchase things from the commissary or be able to use the telephone?
The Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Center has made it easy for you to send inmate money. You can do so by using the infamous JPay service.
The JPay service does charge you a service fee, but the inmate will typically receive the funds you send within one to three business days. Most of the time, they will receive the money within the day you send it.
You will be able to send funds over the phone, online, or in person. This makes it as easy as possible for you to send money from anywhere you are located
Phone Calls
The Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Center permits the inmates to use the telephones at their own expense. Inmates will have the chance to make 15-minute calls home. These calls are subjected to be monitored.
Visitation Rules
Inmates in the Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Center can also receive visitors as well.
Inmates who are in the behavioral health unit, infirmary, death row unit, segregation unit, or the intermediate care housing unit can have visitors only be appointments.
To schedule an appointment for an inmate in one of the above units, you can call 215-991-9700 between Monday through Thursday during the hours of 7 am to 2 pm.
