The Hunt County Juvenile Detention Center is a medium-security detention center located in Greenville, Texas. Operated locally by the Hunt County Sheriff's Office, this jail holds inmates who are awaiting trial or sentencing. The Hunt County Sheriff's Department has the largest number of law enforcement officers in the county and is the largest facility in Texas. The current Sheriff was sworn in as Sheriff in September 2009.
