The Clark County Work Release Center is a medium-security prison that is located in Vancouver, Washington. It is specifically operated by the Montgomery Sheriff’s Office but also does accept prisoners from surrounding towns and municipalities.
The Clark County Work Release Center also has a law library which inmates can access Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 AM and 3 PM. Inmates have a “first come, first serve” basis when it comes to the library.
Some of these inmates are awaiting trial, some have been convicted, and some are waiting to be moved. There is a staff of over 260 civilian members, as well.
Commissary is offered five days a week, from Monday through Friday. There is a wide range of food products, including chips, snacks, beverages, teas, water, and more. Laundry is also delivered from Monday through Friday. Uniforms and towels are delivered twice a week.

How to Find Someone in Clark County Work Release Center

There MUST be the inmate’s name, ID number, and a return address on the envelope. Inmates must also request to have an armband issued by classification in order to receive mail. This armband is not required to receive legal mail, however.

The Clark County Work Release Center also offers $100 “commissary packages”, plus processing and tax, for inmates, as well.

Visitation Rules
The last name of the inmate determines their visitation days. It breaks down as follows. If an inmate’s last name starts with the following letters, they have specific days/hours for visitation. If your last name starts with a letter A through M, your visitation days are Saturdays, from 8 AM to 11 AM, and Sundays, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
There is also a strict visitation dress code at Clark County Work Release Center, and only appropriate clothing is allowed.
