Send a Mail/Package

Inmates at Forest County Juvenile Detention may receive only metered, unstamped, plain white postcards no larger than 4" x 6" as mail written in black or blue ink.

If you want to send money to an inmate’s account, use one of the following options:

  • The kiosk (located in the lobby of the Forest County Juvenile Detention) using Cash or Visa / Master Card. There is a minimum $2.50 fee.

Visitation Rules

Visitors must be registered on the Forest County Juvenile Detention’s visitation website and have selected the inmate who is being visited. Visitors have the ability to schedule a visit from home on a tablet or phone. Visitor registration can also be done by using the kiosk in the jail lobby.

Inmates are allowed one 25-minute video visit per week by no more than four visitors at a time. During on-site visitation, Forest County Juvenile Detention has five on-site visitation units available.

Appropriate attire is required during video visits.

All visits must be scheduled at least two days in advance but no more than six days in advance.
